OUR STAFF

David and Allison Brown welcome you to the InBalance family.

David and Allison have 18 years of professional service to the Massage Industry as Remedial Massage Therapists, 10 years in the Pilates industry and Allison 30 years in mainstream medicine as a Registered Nurse. Our Massage Therapy staff have a Diploma in of Health Science in Massage and all of our Pilates staff have completed the Level 1 Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA) exam (540 course hours) or equivalent.

David

David has a special interest in Corporate Education, with a certificate of Workplace Education Level 3 and has been delivering training programs in injury prevention and musculo-skeletal health and assessment since 1995. He has worked with Hewlett Packard, Telstra, CSIRO, Directorate of School Education and The Guide Dogs Association of Victoria and has lectured in anatomy and physiology and business practice on the Massage Therapy and Pilates Education training courses. David is the Massage Therapist for the Australian Karate Federation and also has a special interest in bike riding. He is the co-author of Workgym Software for the computer user.

David is a member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT) as a Remedial Massage Therapist.

Allison

Allison is a APMA Level 1 Pilates teacher with a certificate of Workplace Education Level 3 and has served on the executive and education committees and is an examiner for the APMA. Her particular interest is occupational health and safety and has authored the manual " Protocols for Occupational Health and Safety in the Pilates Studio" for the APMA, and has taught musculo-skeletal health and safety to the Nursing Industry.

Allison is a member of AAMT as a Remedial Massage Therapist and APMA as a Level 1 teacher.

Liz

On our team we have Exercise Physiologist, Liz Hewett.

Liz has completed a 4 year degree in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation and is a Pilates teacher (APMA accredited), with eight years experience in the field, and has special interest in musculo-skeletal rehabilitation, and sports and dance specific training using the Pilates Method.

Liz is member of the Australian Association of Exercise and Sports Science (AESS) and the Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA) and is at present secretary of the APMA and a member of the education committee.

Phillip

As a Remedial Massage Therapist and Pilates teacher, Phillip Biasibetti has been part of our team for 7 years is a member of AAMT and APMA (Level 1). and has a special interest in golf
